Important Notice

Domain registrants should be aware of two current scams which attempt to transfer your domain name away to another registrar. The notices look like official invoices from a current supplier.

If you receive letters from "EU Registry Services" or "Domain Registry of America", please just ignore and dispose of the letters. If Web Age are currently looking after your domain registration, we will renew your domain name for you. You do not need to respond to these letters - unless you feel inclined to send them to the police or trading standards.

In particular the letter from "EU Registry Services" states:

" The domain name shown above is due for renewal. Please renew this domain immediately to ensure service continues uninterrupted. If payment is not made to the registry before the expiry date the domain name is subject to immediate suspension and deletion without further notice."

The latter sentence is only true because the word "registry" could mean any ICANN registered domain registrar - not necessarily "EU Registry Services", which the sentence is clearly trying to mislead you into believing.
